Wow, I haven't updated since 2010! I have a lot of catching up to do! After just getting on dA again (other than the occasional brief random fandom search) I've greatly enjoyed combing through the hundreds (literally!) of deviations my devwatch had accumulated over the past few years.... I know I probably still missed some, though! People on here are so phenomenally talented... wow! Where to start? Graduation's in two days! :o It's so weird - college has been my whole life for four years, and now I'm graduating - four years seems short now! I'm staying for the Master of Arts in Teaching program, though, so I'll still be at CNU next year, yay! It'll be a bit of a switch from studying mostly literature to focusing mainly on pedagogy... but I hope I do well! I want to be a good teacher! I have plenty of inspirational examples to look up to - my Mom, wonderful homeschooler and amazing teacher of both youth and adults, my professors, patient and endlessly inspiring and creative guides, all those phenomenal high school teachers that made sc

So, just watched Fight Club – what a guys' movie! I know that's gendering it, but… so many fist-fights! Or, I guess you could look at it as a postmodern Jekyll tries to separate man from his consumerist self, creating an ever-stronger Hyde that gives gunpoint guidance counseling and broken teeth in a subliminal rage against the middle-class machine. ☺ I wonder if there's a paper on how J&H and Fight Club parallel… I wonder if I could write one… So far, this semester is going wonderfully! I'm taking 18 credit hours (including 2 grad classes) so it's busy, but fun! I love my philosophy class so much – three weeks
